Hi Harrison,

Wow. What a stimulating report of semester's end. First of all, I love the names of the awards you won from your school team--gemstones, the river...And, of course, congratulations!

I get it when it takes a long time to move an uncomfortable feeling through you. I'm so glad you had friends to hold your hands, literally and metaphorically. Your awards: Improvement, Consistency, and Achievement. The fact that you are working hard, striving, and still standing here to share your story says a f*****ing lot about you. Go you.

I was visiting my mom recently (she's 93!) and she was reading on her smartphone(yes, she has a smartphone!) that this month we have a Strawberry Moon, which is the last full moon of Spring. Have you heard about it? If so, let me know. Will you try to see it?

Don't worry about the C in Psych. Life is a masterclass in psychology if you pay attention. Keep doing the work to spiral up and understand yourself. I have found that once you understand yourself, and have some good coping tools, it is a lot easier to be you.

Postscript: I drove back a few hours from my mom's house in North Jersey to Philadelphia. There was a lot of traffic. I was reflecting on the rollercoaster 4 days that I had up there--some good--some challenging. So, I feel like I was processing a lot of stuff. When I do soft tapping on my sternum, it calms my nerves. I also patted my arms and belly. Have you ever tried that? It's from the ancient art of Qi Gong, but modern science has proven it calms the parasympathetic nervous system. Well, anyway, it works for me, and I was wondering if you have ever tried tapping.

All the best for a great summer,

Meg
